What To Expect Walking In
Entering the Building
As you enter our church building, you will be welcomed by our smiling greeters. You will be invited to sign our guest register and make a name tag. Our greeters can answer any questions you may have as well as provide literature about church programs and activities.
Our space is in transition. We decided to no longer use the Blue House because of safety issues. In 2021, Highway 28 will be widened to 4 lanes and our current building may be demolished.
We are in the process of planning to build new buildings for worship, religious exploration, community activities and church administration.
Sunday Service and Children’s Programming
Worship services begin at 10:30 am. Children stay with their parents for the first part of the service. Twice a month, the children attend Religious Exploration classes in the room at the back of the building. Other Sundays the service is structured to include the children. Childcare for younger children is available from 10:15 am to 12:15 pm in a church office. Your children are welcome to to stay with you in the service or you are welcome to join them for the Religious Exploration lesson. If needed, you may listen to the service from a private space in a church office.
What to Wear
First-time visitors often wonder what to wear when they come to our church. At our regular Sunday services, you’ll see people in a wide range, from “Sunday best” to very casual attire; please wear what helps you feel most comfortable.
After our services, you are welcome to join whatever activity we have after service. We typically have light refreshments and beverages. However, sometimes we have a church potluck, discussion group or newcomer chat. Feel free to engage however you are most comfortable.
